Palestinian political researcher Sheikh Ahmad Al-Khatwani said in a November 5, 2020 lecture at the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem that once established, an Islamic state would be able to easily conquer Rome and liberate Al-Andalus, Kashmir, Chechnya, East Turkestan, India, and other Muslims lands. He said that an Islamic state would extinguish polytheism in the Vatican and that its only concerns would be Jihad and the spread of Islam. In addition, Al-Khatwani said that the Islamic state would reject the United Nations and any form of international law, and that it would conceal its Islamic goals when necessary to spread Islam and rule the world. He added that the Islamic state would not fear defeat or death. The lecture aired on Al-Waqiyah TV (Lebanon). For more about Ahmad Al-Khatwani, see MEMRITV clips No. 7797, 7150, and 4811.

Sheikh Ahmad Al-Khatwani: "Will the Islamic nation be capable, if an Islamic [state] is established, to have influence on [world] events, and to mobilize its armies to conquer Rome, as was promised by the Prophet Muhammad? Will it be capable of regaining Al-Andalus, and liberating Kashmir, Chechnya, the Caucasus, East Turkestan, and India? Naturally, if an Islamic state is established, all these things will be easy and feasible. We want to conquer Rome, but not just to demonstrate the state's bullying power, like America does. No. Our goal is to extinguish polytheism in the Vatican, to instate monotheism, and to spread Islam and its guidance. This is what we want.

[...]

"The Islamic state would not recognize the United Nations, the Security Council, the international resolutions, the international organizations, or international law. The mere existence of the Islamic state and its rejection of the laws imposed upon the Muslims by capitalism, would disrupt the balance of power in the world.

[...]

"The Islamic state believes in one thing only: The spread of da'wa and Jihad. It does not care about winning or losing. It does not fear defeat or death. It cares about spreading da'wa, and mobilizing armies to rule the Earth with Islam.

[...]

"Naturally, the Islamic state would not do this in a frozen and rigid manner. No. It would maneuver and negotiate, and it would take political actions that would conceal the Islamic goals."
