On April 6, 2020, Khartoum TV (Sudan) aired a performance of a song titled "Corona Pandemic" by Sudanese singer Abd Al-Qayum Al-Sharif. Al-Sharif sang: "Our faith in Allah [will] protect us... Wash your hands well… Don't mingle with other people… Disinfect your bedroom… If you must [go to the market], put on a mask."

Abd Al-Qayum Al-Sharif: "Our faith in Allah, upon which we were raised, will protect us from a disease called Corona."

Chorus: "Our faith in Allah, upon which we were raised… Our faith in Allah, upon which we were raised, will protect us from a disease called Corona."

"Corona, Corona, a germ or a bug. Wash your hands well, wash all ten fingers. For the sake of people's health, you must be mindful. For the sake of people's health, you must be mindful. Don't be someone who harms people. Don't be someone who harms people. Stay home and don't mingle with other people. Stay home and don't mingle with other people. Disinfect your bedroom so you will be spared. Disinfect your bedroom so you will be spared. Follow the words of God. Do not shake hands with people. Follow the words of God. Do not shake hands with people.

"Don't tell me that you are going to the market, but if you must, put on a mask. Don't tell me that you're going to the market, but if you must, put on a mask. Don't tell me that you're going to the market, but if you must, put on a mask. Don't tell me that you're going to the market, but if you must, put on a mask."
