Following are excerpts from interview with Naguib Gobrael, head of the Egyptian Union for Human Rights Organization, which aired on Al-Jazeera TV on January 2, 2011:
Naguib Gobrael: We should not always talk about conspiracies, and pin every domestic problem on clandestine foreign elements. Where were those clandestine elements in the massacre of Naga Hammadi, which claimed the lives of seven people? Where was the conspiracy in the massacre of Al-Kush, in which 21 people were killed? Where was the conspiracy in the events of Al-Omraniya, in which two people were killed and over 70 wounded? Where is the conspiracy when extremist mobs attack Christians, because they built a church or prayed in a place with no license? We always pin it on a so-called conspiracy.
