Houthis Showcase Large Arsenal Of Missiles, Drones At Sana'a Military Parade

On September 21, 2023, Mayadeen TV (Lebanon) aired a military parade held in Sana'a, Yemen by the Houthi Ansar Allah movement. At the parade, the Houthis showcased a large arsenal of ballistic missiles, naval missiles, cruise missiles, and drones. The parade's announcer provided in-depth details about these missiles and their capabilities.

Announcer: "The naval missiles will now pass in front of the podium. With the help of Allah, the military industry of the Yemeni armed forces has succeeded in producing advanced naval missiles, which fulfil some of the defensive requirements of the naval forces. A group of missiles will now pass in front of the podium, led by the Al-Rabij missile system, which is a Russian missile, unveiled last year. This is the Falq missile, which is a land-sea ballistic missile, capable of acquiring targets visually and thermally. It has a range of 140 km, its warhead weighs 105 kg, and it runs on solid fuel. It is passing now in front of the podium. It is followed by the Mandab 1 missile.

"Now, the Sejil Missile is passing in front of the podium, which is a new missile, being unveiled today. It is a winged cruise missile, with a 180 km range. It runs on liquid and solid fuel, and is 3.6-meters long. Its warhead weighs 100 kg. This missile is very accurate and can bypass radar systems. It can be launched from anywhere in the Yemeni republic and can reach any point in the Red Sea. It can hit both stationary and moving targets.

"The Mandab-2 missile is passing now in front of the podium. The Mandab-2 land-sea ballistic missile is passing now in front of the podium. It is the first missile with both optical and thermal targeting capability. It has a 400-km range. Its warhead weighs 500 kg, and it runs on solid fuel.

"With the help of Allah, the armed forces are unveiling today a new naval missile – the Sayyad missile – which is now passing in front of the podium. It is a winged cruise missile with a range of 800 km. It is 6.8-meters long, and runs on liquid and solid fuel. Its warhead weighs 200 kg.

"This missile is very accurate and radar systems cannot detect it. It can be launched from anywhere in Yemen, to anywhere in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden.

"The new Saqr-2 missile is passing in front of the podium. It has a range of 150 km and can reach an altitude of 53,000 feet. It is equipped with a high-explosive warhead, as well as advanced technology to confront distortion and electronic warfare. It is used against all types of reconnaissance and electronic-warfare aircraft. It is used against all types of unarmed reconnaissance aircraft, as well as against cruise missiles. It entered service after several tests.

"We are now moving to the UAV force.

"The Rajum UAVs are beginning to pass in front of the podium. It is followed by the Rased reconnaissance plane, whose flight time is up to 45 minutes. It conducts monitoring and reconnaissance missions on all fronts, and is also used to draw maps and conduct aerial surveys. The Khatef-2 UAV is now passing in front of the podium.

"The Qasef-2K UAV is now passing in front of the podium. It is an attack and suicide drone, equipped with several warheads – fragmentation warhead, penetration warhead, or both fragmentation and penetration capabilities in the same warhead. It has a range of 400 km.

"This is the Tochkae missile, which was used in the initial military operations, to target the forces of the foreign enemy in the Marib province. This is a surface-to-surface and land-sea medium-range ballistic missile system, which runs on solid fuel. It has two versions – one surface-surface and the other land-sea. Now, the three generations of the Quds missile will pass in front of the podium: Quds-1, Quds-2, and Quds-3.

"The Quds-4 – a new missile being introduced today – will now pass in front of the podium. It is a winged, long-range, surface-surface missile, and the fourth generation of the winged Quds missiles. It can hit targets with high precision, without being detected by radar systems. The Hatem missile will pass in front of the podium. At these moments… Passing now are the Hatem missiles, Burkan missiles, Falaq missiles, and Zulfiqar missiles.

"Now, a new missile will come in – the Aqeel missile. It is a long-range surface-surface, liquid-fueled ballistic missile, which can hit targets with high precision. We also announce today a new missile – the Toofan missile. This is a strategic surface-surface long-range, ballistic missile, which runs on liquid fuel and has high precision"
