Houthi Radio Station Holds Fundraising Campaign for Hizbullah, Raises Almost $300,000

The Houthi Sam FM radio station from Yemen held a fundraising campaign for Hizbullah called "Goodness of Yemen" between May 20 and June 30, 2019. On July 20, Hamoud Muhammad Sharaf, the station's director, posted a video to his Twitter account showing a large pile of cash in Sam FM's offices. The men in the video chanted: "Allah Akbar! Death to America! Death to Israel! Curses upon the Jews! Victory for Islam!" The campaign yielded 74,010,000 Yemeni rial (295,000 USD), which was given to Houthi leader Abdul Malik Al-Houthi, who in turn is meant to give the money to Hizbullah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah.
