Sheikh Mohammad Yazbek, the head of Hizbullah's Shari'a Council, said in a Friday, July 21, 2023 Friday sermon that was aired on Al-Manar TV (Hizbullah-Lebanon) that homosexuality is a form of social corruption and an abomination, and that one of the "worst and most evil moral deviations" is to call people to homosexuality as The Protocols of the Elders of Zion do. He said that the Protocols focus on spreading abomination, corruption, and destroying the foundations of the family, adding that the "enemies of humanity" seek to annihilate humanity by spreading homosexuality throughout the world. Yazbek also stated that according to some Islamic traditions, some of the people of Sodom and Gomorrah were infected with AIDS even before it was a known disease.

Mohammad Yazbek: "The promotion of homosexuality is a call to spread various types of social corruption. Consequently, the [homosexuals] are known to be ridden with disease. That call to engage in abomination is one of the worst and most evil moral deviations.
