Hachem Safieddine, head of Hizbullah’s Executive Council issued a warning to Israel, America, and the "despicable Europeans" against any military involvement in Lebanon in an October 18, 2023 address that aired on Al-Manar TV (Hizbullah-Lebanon). He said that these countries have already come to Lebanon once and when Hizbullah confronted them they fled "like mice." Safieddine said: You are hereby warned […] we are much stronger than you." He led the crowd in chanting the "unforgettable slogan: Death to America!"
Hachem Safieddine: "Whoever deludes himself – America, Israel, Biden, Netanyahu, all those countries... France, Britain... They are all exposing their fangs these days. I say to France, Britain, Germany, and all those countries: We know what you want. If you have decided to reveal your true faces, and are coming to humiliate the people in this region, then let us remind you that you already came to Lebanon once, with your ships and fleets, and we decided to confront you, and when we did, you fled Lebanon like mice.

You should pay close attention. If you make a mistake towards our resistance, the answer will be clear and resonating, with all the power bestowed upon us by Allah. We are much stronger than you, because we have faith, and Allah is stronger than all your ships and weapons.'
