Syrian tribal leader Khaled Juet Ahmad Al-Akidi said on a February 15, 2024 show on Al-Manar TV (Hizbullah-Lebanon) that the United Staes has caused all the destruction in the Arab and Islamic world, as well as in Syria. He added that it brought terrorist factions such as ISIS and Jabhat Al-Nusra to the region and that it is funding them. Al-Akidi pledged to wage Jihad and fight the Americans. He said that his people will target the Americans wherever they may be. Al-Akidi added that all U.S. bases in Syria constitute targets for them. He said: "The Americans came by force and will only leave by force."
Khaled Juet Ahmad Al-Akidi: "It is America that has caused all this destruction in the Arab and Islamic world, and in Syria in particular.

"As a pretext, the U.S. is saying that it is fighting the terrorist gangs, while it was the U.S. that brought those terrorist gangs, and is funding ISIS and Jabhat Al-Nusra. The U.S. brought those factions here, and it keeps changing their names.

"Our proud and persevering people will wage jihad, and we will fight until the last drop of our blood.
"This will happen in the coming days, inshallah, because we have made great efforts, we are knowledgeable about the situation, and we have a huge force, which we will use to fight the Americans wherever they may be. We will target them on Syrian territory.

"The 'Tribal Intifada' has formed a great army, in our areas, east of the Euphrates, in order to fight America, its bases, and its presence, whether in Al-Omar oil field, near Deir Al-Zour, or in Hasakah, Al-Shaddadi, or Al-Tanf. All the [U.S.] bases in Syria constitute targets for us. As a tribal, military and a popular intifada... The Americans came by force, and they will only leave by force."
