Saudi King Meets with Iraqi Shiite Leader Muqtada Al-Sadr

Following are excerpts from a report that was aired on Saudi Channel 1 on January 11, 2006

Voice over: The Servant of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdallah bin Abd Al-'Aziz Aal S'aud, met with Muqtada Al-Sadr at Al-Mina Palace last night. Al-Sadr is making the hajj pilgrimage this year. At the meeting, Al-Sadr expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the Servant of the Two Holy Mosques' care for the pilgrims, and for the many services, provided by the Saudi government to enable the pilgrms to perform their hajj duty in ease and security. His Royal Highness the Emir Miqren bin Abd Al-'Aziz, chief of general intelligence was also present at the meeting.
