Iraqi Widow Beats Terrorists Who Killed Husband with a Shoe

The following are excerpts from a confrontation between an Iraqi women and the terrorists who killed her husband. Al-Iraqiya TV aired this confrontation on March 17, 2005.

Iraqi soldier: Beat him with this shoe. [Widow beats three terrorists.]

Widow: [To the camera] My husband and I left my mother-in-law's house in the car. Two black cars stopped us. Masked men got out, grabbed my husband and put him in the car. They beat me and my husband at the same time. I identified this criminal on TV, and came to see him. [She weeps.]
