Following are excerpts from an address by Egyptian TV host Sayyed Ali, which aired on Al-Mihwar TV on February 2, 2011.
Sayyed Ali: Many demonstrations all over Egypt, and people in their homes throughout Egypt, are saying: Enough, enough, enough of what is happening at Al-Tahrir Square. Why? Because Egypt will not allow the US to harm it. Egypt will not agree to have an Abu Ghureib prison, to have rapes, or to have the American ignorance.
Egypt will not be the big prize. Bush and his aides said that as part of the Greater Middle East Plan, when all the countries of the region collapse, the big prize will be that Egypt will fall into its lap. Do our brothers, our children, and all the people at Al-Tahrir Square even know about the big prize of the Greater Middle East Plan? Egypt will not be run by the US or by its lackeys and collaborators, nor will it be run by Iran.
A large part of what is happening at Al-Tahrir Square is being done by Iran, and is being done by the US.

We were all angry and wanted reforms. We demanded these reforms in a civilized manner, and the president and political leadership listened to these demands, and 90% of them have been fulfilled. We should continue to act with respect. We should give it a chance and see what will happen, and how it will be implemented, but it is inconceivable that Obama, his aides, and his lackeys here, as well as Iran, the ayatollahs of Qom, and their lackeys and gangs, will burn down this country.
