Animated Video by Assad Loyalists Shows Missile Attack on U.S. Base in Syria

An animated video of a missile attack on the U.S. Al-Tanf Base in Syria was uploaded to the Facebook account of the Popular Resistance East of the Euphrates, a group loyal to the Assad regime. The video that was posted on September 21, 2020 shows a missile with the inscription “Golan” being launched from an underground silo and then hitting the Al-Tanf base. This is followed by the downing of an American helicopter.
