In a November 14 Friday sermon in Tehran, Ayatollah Ali Movahedi-Kermani said: "The Sejjil ballistic missile can hit and raze to the ground any place in Israel, as well as any American base in the region," and the crowds responded with cries of: "Death to America! Death to England! Death to Israel!"
Following are excerpts from the sermon, which aired on Iran's TV Channel 1:
Ali Movahedi-Kermani: The Sejjil ballistic missile can hit and raze to the ground any place in Israel, as well as any American base in the region.

Ali Movahedi-Kermani: None of Israel's atomic or missile centers are safe from Iran's missiles. Israel's atomic centers and the places where it hides its missiles are within the range of the powerful, fast, and awe-inspiring missiles of Iran. Even the Iron Dome cannot protect Israel from these missiles.
Praise God, what blessings this glorious Revolution has brought upon Iran. Moments after their launch, these missiles leave the atmosphere at the unimaginable speed of about 16 6imes the speed of sound. They fly toward the target, and no defensive capability can detect them, let alone destroy them. Let me point out that all our means are intended for defense.
The purpose of our defensive means is to create deterrence. Defense is the absolute right of every country, and even of every person. However, if Israel goes crazy one day and considers attacking Iran, the Sejjil ballistic missiles, with their 2,000 km range... As you know, we are only 1,200 km away from Israel, and these missiles have a range of 2,000 km. If such a mistaken idea of attacking Iran occurs to Israel some day, we will, as our supreme leader said, raze Tel Aviv and Haifa to the ground.

Ali Movahedi-Kermani: "They thought their fortress would protect them from Allah, but the decree of Allah came upon them from where they had not expected." Therefore, it is idiotic to use threats against a country as powerful as Iran. The other side has no choice but to conduct reasonable negotiations with us in a respectful atmosphere. Iran will not go back even one step from the R&D and the enrichment of uranium, and will not relinquish its full right to nuclear energy.

Ali Movahedi-Kermani: I have a couple of sentences for Mr. Obama. Instead of sending letters, Obama should show some goodwill. The ink on his letter has not yet dried, and he has already instructed the extension of the "state of emergency" regarding Iran. This is very strange. The U.S. knows that even in its war against ISIS, it cannot ignore the power of Iran.

Obama says that it was the sanctions that brought Iran to the negotiation table. You are wrong. Iran has joined the negotiations to show you and the world that you are lying.

Obama and Kerry say: "No deal is better than a bad deal." We say the same thing. We also say that not signing an agreement is preferable to accepting the aggressive, bullying, and offensive proposals of the U.S.
