Researcher Amjad Taha, who is a regional director at the British Middle East Center for Studies and Research (BMCSR), said that Iran is the enemy of the Arab nations and of humanity as a whole. He criticized Iran for occupying Syrian lands, Iraqi lands, and the Ahwaz region, and for supporting Hamas, Hizbullah, and terrorists in Yemen. He said that Iran is more dangerous than Israel because it has a broader reach and because it invests more effort in occupying Arab lands and killing Arabs. Taha also said that Hamas is launching missiles at Israel from the roofs of schools and hospitals at the order of Qatar and in coordination with Iran, and that the Israelis are responding. He accused Hamas of being "blood merchants who follow the orders of Iran." Taha was interviewed on Russia Today TV on November 12, 2018.
Following are excerpts:
Amjad Taha: Indeed, the Middle Eastern enemy of the Arab nation and of humanity as a whole is Iran and nobody else. Iran is the number one enemy of the region. It is Iran that builds gallows for the people of the Arab lands of Ahwaz, which it has been occupying since 1925. Iran also occupies Syrian lands. Iran supports the terrorists in Yemen, as well as Hamas, which has abducted Gaza from the Palestinians and the PA. It is Iran that supports the terrorist Hizbullah in Lebanon and elsewhere. It is Iran that supports all those terrorist militias.
First of all, Israel is an enemy, just like Iran. There is no difference. Israel occupies the Palestinian lands just like Iran occupies the three UAE islands, as well as the Arab land of Ahwaz since 1925. Iran tried to occupy Bahrain. It is occupying Syrian and Iraqi lands, and it supports the terrorists in Gaza and in Lebanon through Hizbullah. So Iran is more dangerous [than Israel]. Iran has a broader reach, and it invest more efforts in occupying Arab lands and killing Arab people. Iran has killed over two million Arabs in Iraq, and has displaced over seven million Syrians and killed over half a million Arabs in Syria. Iran has killed over half a million Arabs in Ahwaz, and it detains 26,000 Arab prisoners.
What is happening in Gaza now is that Hamas, at the order of Qatar – from which it has just received funds – and in coordination with Iran, is firing missiles from the roofs of schools and hospitals, and then the other side is retaliating against them. They are blood merchants who follow the orders of Iran.
