Palestine Islamic Scholars Association member Hussein Qasem said in a June 23, 2023 show on Al-Aqsa TV (Hamas-Gaza) that the Jews are not only enemies of the Palestinians, but they are the enemies "humanity as a whole." He criticized Arab countries that have normalized relations with Israel, adding: "Why shouldn't we burn the ground under the Jews' feet?" He said that the Prophet Muhammad had stated that it is of no use to live in peace with the Jews or to talk to them, and he said: "Our young men in Palestine and abroad crave to drink your blood. By Allah, we are thirsty for your blood."

Hussein Qasem: "I say to the Arab and Islamic world: the Quran does not belong to the Palestinians alone. The Jews are not the enemies of the Palestinians alone – they are the enemies of humanity as a whole, and the enemies of every monotheist in the world.

"They are the enemies of the prophets. They are the slayers of prophets.

"So why are you normalizing [your relations] with them? Why are you so eager to meet them? Why are you going to Tel Aviv? Why are you inviting them to Saudi Arabia and the Arabian Peninsula?

"Isn't it enough that they desecrated your Quran? Don't you belong to the Islamic nation? Why shouldn't we be furious? Why shouldn't we be furious? Why shouldn't we burn the ground under the Jews' feet?

"They are doing all this in order to take revenge against the religion of the Prophet Muhammad, whom they fought against in his time. But our prophet Muhammad knew how to teach them a lesson – those about whom Allah told us that it is of no use to live in peace with them or to talk to them.

"The right way to treat them is [as it is written in the Quran]. 'Fight them. Allah will punish them by your hands, and will disgrace them, and will give you victory over them, and satisfy the breasts of a believing people.'
