Nabil Naeem of the Egyptian Islamic Jihad: Half of Those who Voted in Favor of the Referendum Are Illiterate

Following are excerpts from an interview with Nabil Naeem of the Egyptian Islamic Jihad, which was posted on the Internet on December 23, 2012:

Nabil Naeem: In the constitution referendum, 36% voted “no,” and 64% voted “yes.” In my view, the 36% are more significant than the 64%, because 100% of them are educated. On the other hand, half of the 64% who voted “yes” are illiterate. With all due respect, you cannot compare the opinion of a judge to that of someone who cannot read or write.
