Iranian Cleric Ayatollah Ahmad Alamolhoda: Economic Hardship "Necessary Consequence" of the Revolution

In a Friday sermon in Mashhad, Iranian Ayatollah Ahmad Alamolhoda said that the economic problems of the vulnerable sector of society were a "necessary consequence" of the revolution. "This revolution is being attacked by the world in its entirety - by all the forces of atheism, global heresy, and global arrogance," he said, adding that "the revolution has become rocky terrain in the path of America, Europe, and the global arrogance, and threatening their lives." This is a revolution that faces all the powers of arrogance. This is a revolution that is going to awaken the world. This is a revolution that is meant to pave the way for the global rule of Islam, by means of the Hidden Imam. This revolution has many enemies. The revolution is being attacked by the world in its entirety – by all the forces of atheism, global heresy, and global arrogance. There was a time when they were frightened by this revolution, because it took a strategic global base – Iran – away from them., but now, 40 years later, their terror is not merely because the revolution took that base from them, but because the revolution has become rocky terrain, in the path of America, Europe, and the global arrogance, and threatening their lives.
