Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei: U.S. Determines Israeli Policy; If Israel's Crimes Continue, The Muslims, Resistance Forces Will Lose Patience And No One Will Stop Them

Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said in an October 17, 2023 address aired on Channel 1 (Iran) that it is the Americans who are responsible for Israel's deeds, because according to intelligence reports, they are conducting Israel's policies. He said that the Muslims are "enraged" over Israel's "crimes" and if Israel continues to bomb Gaza, the Muslims in the world as well as the resistance groups will lose their patience and "no one will stop them." Khamenei said that Palestinians didn't kill civilians during the invasion of southern Israel on October 7, because Israelis in settlements are not civilians, and even if Palestinians had killed civilians, Israel is now killing 100 times more civilians in Gaza. He said that nothing Israel could do would compensate for the "humiliating defeat" it suffered. Khamenei called for the Israeli government to be put on trial.

Ayatollah Ali Khamenei: "Officials from several countries talked with officials from our country, and defended the plundering Zionist regime. They protested the killing of civilians by the Palestinians. First of all, this is not in line with reality. The people in the settlements are not civilians. They are all armed. Even if we assume they are civilians – how many civilians were killed? The plundering regime is now killing a 100-times more civilian – women, children, young and old people. After all, these buildings in Gaza are not inhabited by military personnel. The military personnel have their own places, and [Israel] knows this.

The deeds that are being done constitute an American policy. The Americans should pay attention to their responsibility. They are responsible.

If this crime continues, the Muslims will lose their patience, the resistance forces will lose their patience, and nobody will be able to stop them anymore. They should know this. They should not expect [us] to stop this-or-that group from doing something. Nobody will be able to stop them if they lose their patience. This is a fact. Obviously, it does not matter what the Zionist regime does, it can do nothing to compensate for the humiliating defeat it suffered in this case."
