Iranian State TV Airs Inciting Video Depicting Israeli Olympic Athlete With Bloodied Hands Confronted By Other Athletes

On August 6, 2024 Ofogh TV (Iran), an Iranian state television channel, aired a video inciting against Israeli athletes. It depicted an Israeli athlete shaking the hands of his competitors and leaving blood on their hands. He is then shown alone in a locker room, where he is confronted by the other athletes, who smear their bloodied hands on his white shirt. The video ends by zooming in on the Israeli flag on the athlete’s uniform and showing blood dripping from his hands.
