On July 14, 2023, the "Shield of Jerusalem" Telegram channel shared a video showing children in Gaza attending Hamas summer camps in which they wear military fatigues and receive military training from masked Hamas fighters. The children can be seen handling real weapons such as assault rifles, sniper rifles, machine guns, and RPGs, and they simulate raiding an IDF military post and conquering Jerusalem.
