On May 2, 2024, Yemeni-Houthi accounts announced a "Twitter storm" at 9 PM Sanaa and Jerusalem time on May 2, using the Arabic hashtag #WeWillNotAbandonPalestine.
The campaign features the slogans: "With Palestine since before the [Al-Aqsa] Flood, [i.e. October 7 attack on Israel] supporting from the beginning of the Flood, continuing backup and jihad, and continuing preparation and readiness. We will not abandon Palestine, we will not let Gaza down, we will not compromise on the cause." A QR code was included, which can be scanned to access a "bank" of ready-made tweets.
