On August 17, 2027, Lebanese Hizbullah-linked Al-Manar TV reported that Iranian Army Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyarim, the Deputy Chief of Coordination, said that Iran will continue to develop its drone and cyber capabilities.[1]
The Iranian official was cited as saying: "We have secured invaluable achievements... in the fields of drone, electronic warfare, cyberspace, and other new technologies." He added that Iranian forces will relentlessly work to further expand these achievements in order to reach deterrence power. He continued: "What we have today does not meet the needs of the future and we must meet our own needs in regard to the future."
