On Telegram, Pro-ISIS Media Outlet Recommends French Supporters Use Encrypted Messaging App Element To Avoid 'Persecution' From The French Government

On November 16, 2020, a pro-Islamic State (ISIS) media outlet released a poster on Telegram, published in both English and French, warning ISIS supporters in France to take precautions to protect themselves from the French government's "persecution of Muslims" by reviewing the outlet's previously published guidelines on information security. The posters also recommended the use of the encrypted messaging app Element.
