A Russian-speaking journalist operating in rebel-held areas of Idlib, Aleppo, and northern Hama, Syria, has interviewed members of Hay'at Tahrir Al-Sham (HTS) and other jihadi groups. The journalist uses Telegram and other social media platforms to solicit bitcoin donations from supporters, for which he gives a QR code. He also gives an address on the Switzerland-based encrypted email service ProtonMail.
