Pro-Al-Qaeda In The Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) Group Recommends Using TOR To Hide One's Identity, 'Blinding The Enemy's Eyes'

On July 9, 2018, a pro-Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) group released a document on its Telegram channel describing the benefits for the mujahideen of using the anonymizing TOR (The Onion Router) network.

The author of the three-page document recounts the different methods that the "American enemy" uses to locate the mujahideen. Among them, the author notes that revealing the personal IP address of a user is the "most dangerous" one.
