Pakistani Cyber Attackers Deface TV Website For Airing 'Vulgar Dramas'

On September 7, 2015, the Pakistani hacker group Pakistani Cyber Attackers successfully hacked and defaced the website for HUM TV, in protest of the channel's airing of "vulgar dramas." The hackers claimed that the content on the channel included vulgarity and even nudity, which were unacceptable in a Muslim country like Pakistan. The defaced website contained a message stating that "the Pakistani TV channels are spreading anti-Pakistan sentiment that also contain[s] vulgarity" (see image below).
