On April 9, 2015, the hacker collective Anonymous announced that its ongoing cyber-attacks against Israeli websites and social media pages would continue until April 20. #OpIsrael involves several Arab and Islamic Anonymous affiliates such as Anonymous Arab and AnonGhost, as well as other groups such as Fallaga Team and individuals such as Mauritania Attacker.
Among the websites hacked were several subdomains belonging to the Israeli Institute of Technology (Technion). Additionally, the hackers posted lists containing hacked Israeli Paypal and email accounts.
