On November 8, 2022, a pro-Al-Qaeda outlet on Telegram announced that the website Minbar Al-Tawhid Wal-Jihad (The Pulpit of Monotheism and Jihad) which is affiliated with a prominent jihadi ideologue has been relaunched.
Back in June 2011, MEMRI reported that the website, which was founded by jihadi ideologue Abu Mohammad Al-Maqdisi and was known for disseminating jihad-related fatwas, including inciting attacks against the U.S., was hosted in Secaucus, NJ. In June 2013, the website went offline after an account suspension. The website had long functioned as the main online hub of the global Salafi-jihadi movement, offering an online library of essential jihad-related texts, such as books, articles, e-journals, pamphlets, and communiqués from the leaders of Al-Qaeda and its affiliates.
