On October 2, 2014, users on the alplatformmedia.com jihadi forum announced the launch of a workshop on military electronics, which will be taught by Abu Yahya Al-Shishani ("the Chechen"). In the introduction to his workshop, Al-Shishani hoped that jihadis could benefit from his experience in the field of electronics, in order to utilize it "in our jihad against the enemies of Allah, His Prophet and the believers."
