Jamaatud Dawa Conference On Social Media

Jamaatud Dawa (JuD), the charity arm of Pakistani terrorist group Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) held a two day conference on social media in Lahore on December 26-27, 2015. The conference coincided with the launch of JuD's cyber initiative and official website - Nazariapakistan.com.

The conference was attended by some 30-40 people and featured an address by JuD chief Hafiz Saeed on the impacts of social media on ISIS, jihad, and terrorism. Saeed pointed to ISIS as a role model of using social media to propagate its message.

JuD is also active on Twitter, via its @JuDFeeds account. The group's pervious account, @JamatDawah, was suspended by Twitter admins.
