Iraqi Hacking Group Linked To Iran-Backed Militias Claims It Disabled Three Israeli Websites, Promises Bigger Operations To Come

On November 7, 2023, an Iran-backed group of Iraqi hackers claimed to have hacked three Israeli websites, relating their operation to the ongoing fighting between Israel and Hamas in the Gaza Strip. On its Telegram channel, the team provided the Web addresses of three Israeli websites which, upon clicking on them, showed the hackers' logo. Hours later, the group published a short post on its Telegram channel, claiming that its attacks proceeded in three stages: disabling websites, gaining control of them, and a third, secret stage.
