Iran To Stage Electronic Warfare Drills

On March 10, 2015, the Iranian news agency Fars reported that Iran intends to conduct electronic warfare drills in the new year, which starts on March 21. According to Iranian general Ahmad Reza Pourdastan, the drills will simulate scenarios in which wireless devices are jammed and will involve "telecommunications, ICT, electronic war and counter-electronic warfare drills in which all tactics will be used."
