Interior Ministry Of Saudi Arabia To Hold Cyber Security Conference

On February 2, 2017, it was reported that Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Interior, represented by the National Cyber Security Center (NCSC), would organize the Second Annual International Security Conference on February 27-28, to be held at the Security Forces Officers Club in Riyadh. Abbad Alabbad, the NCSC communication and strategic development executive director, said that the conference would "bring cyber knowledge and experience all over the world to information technology (IT) professionals in the Kingdom and the region" and would "facilitate national, regional and international collaboration between government, industry and critical infrastructure organizations." About 600 participants are expected to attend the conference.
