Houthi Militants Display Downed Chinese-Made UAV, Say Its Still-Intact Hardware Will Be Reactivated, Warn Yemen's Enemies, Curse America And The Jews

On December 1, 2019, Al-Masirah TV (Yemen) aired a video of Houthi militants displaying a downed Chinese-made Wing Loong drone and its missiles, hardware, and cameras. One of the militants explained that the drone was downed in the Hayran District by Yemen's air defense system, and he said that the drone's still-intact hardware will be reactivated. In a warning to the Houthis' enemies, one of the militants said that they are waging Jihad for the sake of Allah and that they can strike targets deep in enemy territory. The militants brandished their rifles and chanted: "Allah Akbar! Death to America! Death to Israel! May the Jews be cursed! Victory for Islam!"

Yemeni militant: "This airplane was downed last night at the Hayran District. This was done thanks to Allah and with His help. [Our] air defense downed this [UAV] system in its entirety. This is one of its wings. This is one of the missiles. This is the other wing, as you can see. This is the rear part of the UAV.

"This is the hole in the UAV. As we can see, the equipment inside remained intact. It will be activated, with the help of Allah."

Other Yemeni militant: "This Chinese-made airplane was downed thanks to Allah and with His help. We say to the enemies: Our airspace is not what it used to be. Our air defense will down their airplanes with the help of Allah.'

Another Yemeni militant: "Let the enemies know that we are not playing games. We are waging Jihad for the sake of Allah, and we are capable of reaching our targets deep in their own land. It does not end with their airplanes."
