Hamas's Al-Qassam Brigades Responsible For Cryptocurrency Theft

According to a January 24, 2022 report[1], the Cyber Crime Unit of the Delhi, India Police has uncovered that Hamas's Al-Qassam Brigades were behind the theft of 6.7 bitcoin and 9.79 Ethereum (worth over 500,000 USD) from the cryptocurrency wallet of a Delhi-based businessman, whose information and was hacked and posted to the darknet. Hackers gained access to the wallet and fraudulently transferred the contents to three accounts used mostly for terror-financing, including one based in Giza, Egypt, and the Palestinian city of Ramallah.
