On March 15, 2016, the 'Izz Al-Din Al-Qassam Martyrs Brigade - the military wing of Hamas, officially protested the suspension of its official Twitter account "without any precedent warning." The organization argued that the repeated suspension of its accounts "exposes bias to the Israel occupation, the real terrorism in the world."
The Al-Qassam Brigades called the repeated suspensions "unacceptable" and asserted its "right to defend out people, land, and legal resistance."
