Hacker Who Allegedly Passed Info On U.S. Military Personnel To CyberCaliphate Arrested in Malaysia

Kosovo citizen Ardit Ferizi was recently arrested in Malaysia on a provisional U.S. arrest warrant for the alleged transfer of info on U.S. personnel to the ISIS-linked CyberCaliphate, which the group leaked online in August 2015.

According to authorities, Ferizi hacked a U.S.-based company In order to steal the info and transferred it to ISIS member and alleged CyberCaliphate member Junaid Hussein, who was killed in an airstrike in Syria back in June. Ferizi is also an alleged member of the Kosova Hacker's Security hacker group.
