On October 16, 2023, a cyberattack group affiliated with Iran-backed militias in Iraq published a Telegram post claiming responsibly for a cyberattack against an Israeli website for travelers. The group stated that it disabled all of the website's external servers, threatening to continue cyberattacks against websites belonging to the "oppressive [Israeli] entity."
