A recent large cyber attack against irannuc.ir, by an unknown source, delayed the website's updating.
According to the Iranian website Tasnim, the attack aimed to:
- Create false admin accounts to manipulate website articles
- Post fake articles
- Damage existing articles
- Make website archive have not available to users
The website administrators have not found the source of the attacks.
