April 8, 2016, marked the annual #OpIsrael cyber-attack on Israeli websites, which coincides with Holocaust Remembrance Day, by the hacker collective anonymous. The op was joined by several other independent hackers and associated groups, including Red Cult, which targeted 55 websites associated with the Israeli government.
