On September 26, 2018, the official English-language Telegram channel of the Afghan Taliban posted a photo of what appears to be a section of a drone and wrote: "Surveillance aircraft seized in Gerishk. HELMAND, Sept 26 - An invader surveillance aircraft equipped with several cameras was tactically seized by Mujahideen in Band Barq area of Gerishk district and taken to a safe place yesterday."
