In New Video: Children, Teens Train Alongside Taliban Militants; Commander Mullah Sangeen Sees Off Taliban Fighters Headed for the Afghanistan Battlefield

A new video released on the jihadist web forums shows the Taliban in eastern Afghanistan preparing and dispatching militants, including dozens of children and teenagers, to fight on the Afghan battlefield.

Prominent Taliban commander Mullah Sangeen is seen meeting with a group of the Taliban fighters and instructing them not to be discouraged if they do not find an opportunity to fire a shot at the security forces.

Mullah Sangeen belongs to the Haqqani Network, a key militant organization that is part of the Taliban in Afghanistan. He is "governor" of Afghanistan's eastern Paktika province, appointed by the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, the Taliban's shadow government. In the video, Mullah Sangeen, speaking in a local dialect of the Pashtu language as spoken in the Paktika province, addresses the Taliban fighters before they leave for the battlefield: ...
