THE WEEK IN JIHAD
This week in jihad was marked by the release of issue #2 of the Al-Qaeda English-language online jihadist magazine Inspire, which included 72 pages of content. The release of this issue strengthens a new development of immense importance which began with the release of the first issue, reflecting a strategic attempt to build on recruiting from the Muslim communities in America. It aspires for American Muslims to be the carrier of jihad in America, rather than having mujahideen come to America from other parts of the world, and rather than recruiting American Muslims to participate in the jihad in other areas of the world.
