Just before the incoming Saudi Ambassador to Tehran, Abdullah bin Saud Al-Anzi, took up his position, after seven years of severed Saudi-Iranian relations, the Iranian news outlet Noandish.com ("New Thinking") published, on September 9, 2023, a video of Iranian Prof. Gholamreza Qasemian, director of the Majlis library, museum, and archives and expert in religion for Iran's broadcasting. In the video, Qasemian states that Iran will wage war with Saudi Arabia to conquer "the main Qibla" – that is, the mosques of Mecca – and that the Hidden Imam will reappear there. He also said that "Israel only has three years left to exist" and will "self-destruct."
The video, posted August 26, 2023 on the website of Sarcheshmeh Nour, the Cultural Complex Commemorating the Martyrs of the Islamic Revolution, where Qasemian gives his lectures and where they are posted. The Cultural Complex, which is under the supervision of the regime's Iranian propaganda organization, has been operating in Tehran since 2012 with the aim of "preserving the culture of sacrifice and martyrdom in the society and passing on the high values of the Islamic Revolution" in Iranian society.[1]
Golamreza Qasemian was appointed director of the Majlis library in 2020 by Majlis speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf, with whom he is associated.[2] Qasemian is an alumnus of the Sharif University of Technology and Civil Engineering, and a professor at three universities: Amirkabir University of Technology, Sharif University, and the Iran University of Science and Technology.

The Weapons That The Saudis Are Buying "Will Be Captured By The Mujahideen"
"Since they know this, they have snipers all around the Masjid Al-Haram. The Leader [Khamenei] said this somewhere, but never repeated it. He said that it was not a problem that the Saudis are buying lots of weapons, because these weapons will be captured by the mujahideen [fighters of Iran]."
