English-Language Jihadi Forum Publishes Essay Encouraging Muslims in the West, Including London and Minneapolis, to Support and Join Jihad in Somalia

On July 11, 2011, the English-language forum Ansar Al-Mujahideen published an article titled "The Path of Departures - Reminiscing [on] the Martyrs of Somalia" by an individual calling himself "Abu Yaser Al-Maqsidhi" (Abu Yasser of Mogadishu), who is identified on the site as a mujahid fighting in Somalia. The essay, written in English, strives to encourage the supporters of jihad following the death of jihad fighters and leaders. More importantly, it urges the Muslims in Western countries to support the jihad in Somalia, i.e. the Al-Shabab Al-Mujahideen organization. Presumably, its main target audience is Somalis living in the U.S. and in other English-speaking countries....
