An April 5, 2022 article posted on Ansarollah.com, the official website for the Yemen-based Iran-backed Shi'ite militias, i.e. the Houthis, called interfaith dialogue a "misleading headline" and arguied that both Christians and Jews should convert to Islam as it is an extension of their own religions.

The article, titled 'The Jews.. Arrogance and Racism," also argued that the Jews had refused to convert to Islam because of their arrogance and because they disapproved of the Prophet Muhammad's being Arab. It added that that Christianity and Judaism "are not monotheistic religions," and stressed that there should be no compromise with them and that the Muslim position should be waging war against them and forcing them to pay taxes.

"The Jews Have Deep Hatred Of The Divine Guidance"
"One of the most dominant characteristics of the Jews is that they are the most daring people in negatively interacting with Allah's guidance. That boldness comes from their deep hatred of the divine guidance and their hearts that are hardened towards the clear proofs, and also because of their belief that the divine guidance will prevent them from [fulfilling] their desires and wishes to remain deviant and superior.
"We will learn here about the other reason behind the Jews' stubbornness and disbelief, which is derived from the arrogance of the rabbis and monks regarding accepting the truth and their unwillingness to accept what comes from others, even if it is the Book of Allah. [This is] because they have no desire to accept Allah's guidance or to interact positively with it; when they do, this [interaction] is limited to their personal and societal interests that concern only the Jews as a community, and anything other than that is completely rejected.
"Imam [Ayatollah Ruhollah] Khomeini spoke about arrogance, saying that arrogant people view the world around them from a superior vantage point because they suffer from a psychological ego disorder that makes them treat the rest of the world as less important, and give it no consideration. He also said that the ones in charge are those who push others to commit injustice, aggression, and corruption, and that this is because of their far-reaching authority; therefore, they consider themselves in charge of everything, and thus underestimate everything that does not serve their desires and wishes. [This, he explained, is] because of their arrogant soul that blinds their eyes and hearts and makes them underestimate everything else.
"And now that there has come to them a Book from Allah, how do they treat it? Even though it confirms the truth that is already in their possession, and even though they prayed for victory against the unbelievers, when that Book came to them, and they recognized it, they [still] refused to acknowledge its Truth.
"Allah's curse be upon the unbelievers. Evil indeed is that with which they console themselves. They deny the guidance revealed by Allah, begrudging His choice to bestow His gracious bounty (of revelation and prophethood) on some of His servants as He willed. Thus, they have brought on themselves wrath upon wrath, and humiliating chastisement is in store for such unbelievers.
"When they are told 'Believe in what Allah has revealed,' they say 'We believe only in what was revealed to us (Israel).' They deny everything else, even though it be the Truth, which confirms what they possess. Say (to them): 'If indeed you are believers, why is it that in the past you killed the Prophets of Allah (who were from Israel)?' Quran 2:89-91."
The Jews Are The Killers Of Prophets
"As it is known from the Quran and from historical sources, when the Jews went overboard in their arrogance and in their attacks on Allah's prophets – to the extent of assassinating them in direct premeditated murders, as they did with Allah's prophet Yahya bin Zakaria [John the Baptist] and then with Allah's prophet Issa [Jesus], peace be upon them, Whom they [the Jews] tried to kill but it was made to appear to them [that they had], and Allah raised Him [Jesus] up unto himself, and they were completely excluded from inheriting the prophethood and the sacred books because of their arrogance, stubbornness, and shifting away from Allah, and for daring to kill Allah's prophets and those who call for justice.

"And, because they [the Jews] understand the dynamics of the conflict very well and the role of Allah's guidance and guiders in attaining victory, they would say to the unbelievers' neighbors in Madina and other cities, 'We live in the shadow of the emergence of a Prophet Whom we will kill, and you with Him, in the kind of death that was brought on the people of Aad and the people of Iram.
"They knew about the [coming] Prophet, His religion, and His future more than anyone else, because the good news about His arrival was mentioned in their previous books, and many of His characteristics were mentioned by their prophets.
"[The Jews] know Him as they know their own children, but because the Prophet Muhammad turned out to be an Arab, and brought to them the truth which had been told to them before, their pride led them to sin, and they insist on clinging to misguidance. They rejected [Him], they refused, expressed their arrogance, disbelieved in Allah and in His Messenger, and broke their promise to the unbelievers that they would follow the great Prophet, and would rule the world and be the masters of the world.
"But [then,] when there came to them that which they recognized, they disbelieved in it – so the curse of Allah will be upon the disbelievers, Quran 2:89, and this is because of the arrogance of their rabbis, because the Prophet came with guidance that they knew about, and they chose to disbelieve in it, when it had reached them through their own prophets. So how were they to believe in it, follow it, and accept it through a prophet who was not of them – they are the ones who killed their own prophets due to abhorrence of guidance.
"It was reported that Huyayy ibn Akhtab and his brother Abu Yasser went together to the Prophet Muhammad at dawn, and stayed with him until dusk – the two were Jewish rabbis and leaders – and when they returned, Abu Yasser asked his brother Huyayy, Is that Him? He answered, Yes, by the name of Allah. Yasser then asked, 'What do you feel about him?' He answered, 'Hostility to him until my last breath.'"
The Quran Presents The Solution – But The People Of The Book – The Jews And Christians – Stubbornly Reject It
"Allah has offered the cure for the psychological disorders of the People of the Book [the Jews and Christians], in the hope that they may regain their sanity and stop being stubborn, arrogant, and idiots. He ordered His Messenger to invite them to the main headline for the messages of Allah, which is to worship Allah only, and that all should unite behind this objective. Allah said: 'Say, Oh Prophet, Oh People of the Book! Let us come to common terms: that we will worship none but Allah, associate none with Him, nor take one another as lords instead of Allah. But if they turn away, then say, Bear witness that we have submitted to Allah alone.' Quran 3:64. But they rejected that call, and remined arrogant, claiming that their desire and misguidance is the true guidance, and they encouraged others to follow their misguidance and desires instead of the guidance of Allah.
"Allah said: 'The Jews and Christians each say, Follow our faith to be rightly guided. Say, Oh Prophet, "No! We follow the faith of Abraham, the upright – who was not a polytheist."' Quran 2:135. Because the prophet, peace be upon Him, is considered a central point at which all people meet, and this is why they [the Jews and Christians] argued relentlessly, and each one wanted to brag about belonging to the followers of Allah's prophet Abraham. Allah said: 'Oh People of the Book! Why do you argue about Abraham, while the Torah and the Gospel were not revealed until long after him? Do you not understand? Here you are! You disputed about what you have little knowledge of, but why do you now argue about what you have no knowledge of? Allah knows, and you do not know. Abraham was neither a Jew nor a Christian; he submitted in all uprightness and was not a polytheist. Indeed, those who have the best claim to Abraham are his followers, this Prophet, and the believers. And Allah is the Guardian of those who believe.' Quran 3:65-68."
"Allah has unveiled to them the truth about their claim that Abraham was neither a Jew nor a Christian, since the Torah and the Bible were introduced after his death. But he was a monotheist, one who submits to God, like the Prophet Muhammad. Allah has called on all people to follow the religion of Abraham. Allah said: 'Say, Oh Prophet, Allah has declared the truth. So follow the Way of Abraham, the upright – who was not a polytheist' Quran 3:95, in the hope that they would accept this and stop causing discord and being stubborn, if they were truthful in their claim regarding Allah's prophet Abraham.
"But their claims have no backing from the books of Allah. Therefore, [the Jews and Christians must] stop using this tactic and stop holding on to lies, falsifications, and myths, and return to the religion of Allah, which is the religion of Abraham, Isaac, Ismael, Jacob, Moses, Issa, and all the prophets. [Islam] is an extension of the true religion of Allah, which unifies all religions."
The Jews And Christians Should Believe In All The Books Of Allah And In "All His Prophets And Messengers"
"Then Allah ordered all Muslims to declare that they believe in all the prophets of Allah and all of their messages, without discrimination against anyone of them. 'Say, Oh believers, We believe in Allah and what has been revealed to us; and what was revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and his descendants; and what was given to Moses, Jesus, and other prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them. And to Allah we all submit.' Quran 2:136 This is a clarifying message to the People of the Book that the true religious belief is believing in all the books of Allah, all His prophets and messengers. It is not a selective religious belief in which people believe and disbelieve according to their wishes, in the hope that this method will encourage them to believe in the Messenger of Allah and stop their stubbornness and arrogance and adhere to Allah. 'So if they believe in what you believe, then they will indeed be rightly guided. But if they turn away, they are simply opposed to the truth. But Allah will spare you their evil. For He is the All-Hearing, All-Knowing' Quran 2:137 and because they are people of dissent and stubbornness. Even with their own prophets, to whom they are related by blood or marriage, these methods did not work with them, as they would only want people to believe in Judaism or Christianity.
"These headlines have nothing to do with the religion of Allah. They are a combination of desires and deviations from the religion of Abraham, from submitting to Him [Allah] and a breaking from their ancestors' promise to Allah, as their grandparents urged their sons to be Muslims. Allah said: 'This was the advice of Abraham, as well as Jacob, to his children, saying, Indeed, Allah has chosen for you this faith; so do not die except in a state of full submission. Or did you witness when death came to Jacob? He asked his children, Who will you worship after my passing? They replied, We will continue to worship your God, the God of your forefathers – Abraham, Ishmael, and Isaac – the One God. And to Him we all submit.' Quran 2:132-133 But you will realize that they have discriminated against the prophets of Allah, even though it is one journey and one family. Abraham, Ismael, Isaac and Jacob. Is this not one family? They disregard Ismael and focus on Jacob. Ismael is compared to Isaac because he is in the line to Abraham; otherwise, their focus is Jacob. They presented it racially and nationally in an utterly disgusting form.
"'So if they believe in what you believe' Quran 2:137 Didn't it [the Quran] teach the Muslims to say on this occasion, 'We make no distinction between any of them' Quran 2:136? They are all prophets of Allah and His messengers, and of the books that were sent down to them – not the ones that they currently have, as those have been modified and contain deviations. Therefore, the position is clear here: 'So if they believe in what you believe, then they will indeed be rightly guided.' Quran 2:137 If they believe in your book, and the books were revealed to Abraham and Ismael and so forth, and if they become Muslims like you, then they are rightly guided. 'But if they turn away, they are simply opposed to the truth' Quran 2:137.
"The case is clear. They are being stubborn and opposing the truth, because you have been calling them to the religion of Abraham – the religion of Ismael, Isaac, Jacob, and his descendants. This religion has extended from Abraham, and their position regarding Islam and the Prophet of Islam is a racist and arrogant position, because it does not include recognizing the other. 'So if they believe in what you believe, then they will indeed be rightly guided' Quran 2:137. So accept them 'but if they turn away, they are simply opposed to the truth' Quran 2:137. And you should take the position required by the religion against them, which is 'but Allah will spare you their evil' Quran 2:137. When they are in opposition to the truth, they will only show stubbornness, conspiracies, wars, and things of that kind."
Interfaith Dialogue Is A "Misleading Headline" And A "Very Wrong Case"
"The martyred leader, may Allah bless him, called the so-called interfaith dialogue a very wrong case.
"First: The People of the Book are required to believe in all the messengers of Allah and all the religions of Allah, and to convert to Islam, which is an extension of that unified prophethood line. If they turn away, 'Allah will spare you their evil. For He is the All-Hearing, All-Knowing.' Quran 2:137. And Allah is aware of all their conspiracies, both public and private, and therefore there is no need to make concessions for the sake of pleasing them or to prevent their evil, as the matter has been predetermined.
"Second: Judaism and Christianity are not monotheistic religions. Rather, they are wishes and falsehood, and recognizing them as monotheistic religions is a grave mistake and a deviation.
"Third: The books that they have are no longer the true divine books which Allah brought down to his previous prophets, but rather books filled with wishes, deviations, myths, and falsehood that they turned into religions because of their ignorance, stupidity, and opposition to the truth.
"Fourth: Their books bring no solution, but are part of the factors of disunity and deviation that are based on racism and discrimination, even against the prophets of Allah.
"Fifth: They will not be pleased with anyone until they convert to their religions, which are based on wishes and deviation. Otherwise, they will not agree with him or her in anything.
"Six: They are not willing to accept the truth and guidance from any source whatsoever, even if it was brought to them by their prophets. In fact, it is they who disbelieved in the truth and killed their prophets.
"Seven: They are known to be in opposition to the truth, and to be stubborn and argumentative even with their own prophets to whom they are related by blood or marriage, let alone with others.
"Eight: They are not ready or willing to accept the other, no matter how many concessions the other makes, because of their sense of superiority that is deeply rooted in them. 'We are the children of Allah and His beloved' Quran 5:18.
"Nine: They believe in false religions by which they justify oppressing others and violating their rights: 'There is no call on us (to keep faith) with these ignorant (Pagans).' Quran 3:75.
"Ten: Our position regarding them should be the position of the Quran: 'Fight those who do not believe in Allah and in the Last Day, and who do not forbid what Allah and His Messenger have forbidden, and who do not follow the Religion of Truth among those who were given the Scripture, until they pay the due tax with a willing hand, being compliant' Quran 9:29. Therefore, there is no need, and no permission should be given, for any concessions to them on issues that are related to the religion of Allah and His rules."
