AQAP Takes Credit For Placing Explosive Parcels on UPS and FedEx Airplanes

On November 5, 2010, Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) published a statement in which they claimed responsibility for bringing down a UPS airplane on September 3, 2010, after it took off from Dubai International Airport via explosive parcels. AQAP also said they placed similar packages in two other cargo airplanes; one belonging to UPS and the other belonging to FedEx.
