In a new statement, Al-Qaeda's top Pakistani official Ustad Ahmad Farooq urged the people of Pakistan to rise up against democracy and support the mujahideen working for the establishment of Islamic sharia rule in the country.
Ustad Farooq is head of Al-Qaeda's Preaching and Media Department for Pakistan. The statement, titled "Truth will be Victorious in the War between Islam and Democracy," was released by As-Sahab, the media production house of Al-Qaeda, and begins with condolences for Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) commander Maulana Waliur Rehman, who was killed recently in a U.S. drone strike in Pakistan. ...
