On October 22, the Lebanese Hizbullah legislator Hassan Fadlallah confirmed that Hizbullah leader Hassan Nasrallah is personally overseeing the military operations against Israel in the north following the October 7 Hamas attack from Gaza.[1] Fadlallah confirmed the Hizbullah leader's involvement in an interview with the Beirut-based Al-Mayadeen Satellite Channel.

"The Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Mr. Nasrallah, follows hour by hour the course of the confrontation, stressing that he supervises and manages it in direct communication with the field leaders of the resistance, and he is the leader of this resistance," said the Lebanese MP.

Discussing Hizballah's military activities near Israel's northern borders, Fadlallah explained that the Iran-backed fighters are well prepared. He added that the Hizbullah leader oversees the political and military aspects of the confrontation with Israel:

"The resistance is at the level of readiness for any possibility and any scenario, and Sayyed Nasrallah is present at the heart of the battle at the level of direct presence with the mujahideen, and at the political and popular levels."

He continued, explaining that: "Nasrallah's lack of media appearance is part of managing the battle based on wisdom and courage," and added: "when Nasrallah realizes that managing the battle requires his appearance [on the media], he will do so."
