A user of the Islamic State (ISIS)-operated Rocket.Chat server responded on June 12, 2023 to a recent post with a graphic explaining the OSI model of how computer systems communicate over a network, particularly the concept of "packet encapsulation." The user thanked the media outlet which produced the poster, encouraging it to start a dedicated channel for sharing information about similar topics.[1]
